This past weekend, Sitan Gym Arizona came to fight, with our entire team showing phenomenal heart and technical skill. We had a final team of 13 athletes, 6 taking home championship belts. Sitan came in #1 in Arizona for a 4th championship in a row, taking second overall. Special shoutout to Danny Valenzuela, placing in the Top 10 athletes of the tournament. Danny fought in 2 weight classes, taking home a belt and a medal.
Sitan Gym was able to succeed because of an amazing team effort. Thank you to our athletes for their hard work and dedication, their families for their support, and to everyone who showed up during camp to train with and hold for our competitors. It truly takes a village.
