On Friday, March 9th Ruben Navarette and Eli Johnson fought at the SAAA Show in Phoenix. Eli made his way back to the ring after a long hiatus, and it was FIREWORKS! He outclassed his more experienced opponent and ended the bout in a amazing TKO after 3 knockdowns in 93 seconds!
Ruben was the Main event of the night with his rematch against Adam Penunuri that ended in a no-contest via cut from an illegal head butt. This fight was an ALL OUT WAR. both athletes left it all in the ring. Ruben came out with the victory with a split decision.
All in all it was an amazing show! We look forward to the next one where Ruben will be moving up the 8-man bracket to win an all-expense paid trip to Thailand!
