This past weekend, two Sitan athletes, Steven Lane and Geneva Quam, went to Des Moines, Iowa to compete in the 2024 TBA Classic World Championships. Steven competed in the adult division for the first time, in the Men’s B Class Bantamweight division, fighting at 122 lbs. He fought a tough opponent and showed a lot of skill and grit in the semi finals but lost via TKO in the 1st round . Geneva fought in the 10-11 JR girls B class, fighting at 87 lbs. She fought in the finals and lost via decision. We’re proud of our athlete’s performance this past weekend. If you see them around in class – congratulate them on their hard work! Thank you to the parents, Coach Travis, and Francis – the weekend couldn’t have happened without you.
