This weekend, the Sitan muay thai and jiu jitsu teams were busy.
Collin and Omar fought in Flagstaff on Monster Promotions Cinco de Monster Fight Night. Collin dominated with a 1st round knockout, securing the win with solid clinch, knees, and kicks. We’re proud of his hard work and want to wish him a happy 11th birthday! Omar was knocked out in the 2nd round of a tough match for the WBC national amateur belt. Win or lose, we’re excited to see what’s next for him.
Nate competed on Fight2Win in Phoenix, and won by decision after a dominant 5 minutes. Nate stayed busy, looking for several different submissions, and ultimately outworked his opponent easily.
