The US Open has always been a labor of love, built to give our athletes the elite stage they deserve. However, to be completely transparent, the rising costs of producing an event of this magnitude have put us in a difficult financial position.
To ensure the US Open can move forward this year—and for years to come—we have to make immediate, radical changes to our operating model. Specifically, we are transitioning from a paid tournament crew to an all-volunteer-led operation.
This isn’t just a request for help; it’s a call to action for everyone who believes in this tournament. We need a dedicated “Event Crew” to help with logistics.
